Hey everybody!

Botchit & Scarper have just signed a new artist: SON OF KICK! This one is not new in the scene cos he has already released stuff on the Stanton Warriors’ label “BEATZ” & remixed Kotchy & few others… His EP, BYRDKICK, is a collaboration between him and Crunchtime’s Arabyrd & is due for november this year. This ep also features a remix from Austria’s Stereotyp that has already creeped into playlists across the likes of Diplo’s dance-floors.

Hailing from electro to dub-step, break-beat to hip hop, SON OF KICK has reached all across working with those such as Blu Rum 13 (Beat Infusion, USA), Jenna G (1Xtra, UK), N’fa (1200 Techniques/Inertia Music, AUS), Two Tokez (Death By Records, UK) and RQM (Exploited, USA).

To celebrate all this good news, he gave me his own interpretation of the Test… expect filthy crazy bassline in there :D

Through this blog i’ve discovered a german dj, Tim Turbo, he’s one of the blog co-runner. I think we have the same taste or at least, roots in music…. he djs loads of different styles, from dancehall to fidget, dubstep, breakbeats… If you like all dis, you should visit his blog frequently, & listen to his TIM TURBO’s THURSDAYS – every thursday, there’s a nu mix to download, with loads of exclusives & infos.

I know Niark for a while now… he’s not like a close friend, but we’ve worked together while i was co-promoting gigs in Paris at le Baotfar few years ago.

This guy is dope: he has his own style, drawing these weird UFOs & strange creatures… i love this crazyness & freshness in his work, it’s always different, colorfull & vivid.
