The Man Rec. crew just started a new mixtape series at Man Recordings. Every two months, the series will present the mixing skills and favourite picks from artists of the Man Rec Crüe.
As every gentleman´s motto is “Ladies first”, here´s the Man Rec Mixtape #1 by our beloved Joyce Muniz: It´s full of new and unreleased tropical heat from Solo to Riva Starr, Man Rec classics re-edited, to new baile bangers and house shakers – a mix perfect to grind your sun tanned bodies at the pool. Apparently this guy has featured in a big MTV dance competition few years ago….

Last week end, i’ve been to the Giger Museum, in Bulle in Switzerland. i’ve never been a huge fan, but like everybody, i’ve LOVED his Alien, which is, for me, one of the best Science Fiction creature in da history.

But there, i’ve discovered an artist i’ve never heard about… Martin Schwarz.

You can have a look on Google, you won’t find anything… that why i though my mission was to make everybody discover his work… after that, you’ll consider nowadays artists a bit differently ;-)

Keep in mind all his work has been done around the 70’s….. so it’s probably one the first graphic “pirate” on photoshop… the concept is always the same: taking a famous original painting & re-interpeting it….. check dat!
